Comic legend Bernie Mac died yesterday from complications with pneumonia. He was 50.
Mac suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body’s organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. He recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.
“The world just got a little less funny,” said “Oceans” co-star George Clooney.
Comedian George Carlin, known for his edgy and provocative material, died of heart failure at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Sunday. He was 71.
Actor, Charlton Heston, has passed away at the age of 84. There will be a private memorial service.

Professional wrestler Brian Adams, best known as Crush from the tag team Demolition, has died at the age of 43. As of right now there is no official cause of death.

Merv Griffin, the US entertainer who created the game shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, has died aged 82. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year.
He was known for his self-titled TV series, which ran for more than 5,500 editions in 23 years. In 1964 he debuted “Jeopardy” to the masses and 11 years later “Wheel of Fortune” made its debut.
According to lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, in Fayetteville, Ga., the deaths of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, wife Nancy and son Daniel were the result of a double murder-suicide, WWE.com has learned.

I am deeply saddened to learn about this. I really hope that Benoit would never do something like that, but this is whats being reported. Only time will tell.

Pro Wrestler Chris Benoit and his family were found dead in their home. There are no details at this time other than it is under investigation. There are rumors going around to my knowledge they have not been confirmed.
Benoit is a true legend and will be sorely missed.

Don Herbert, who explained science to millions of young viewers on the television show “Mr. Wizard” died Tuesday at the age of 89. Herbert died at his home in Bell Canyon after a long battle with multiple myeloma, said Tom Nikosey, Herbert’s son-in-law.
Herbert used basic experiments to teach scientific principles to his TV audience via an in-studio guest boy or girl who assisted in the experiments.
“I was a grade school kid in the ’50s and watched ‘Mr. Wizard’ Saturday mornings and was just glued to the television,” said Nikosey, president of Mr. Wizard Studios, which sells Herbert’s science books and TV shows on DVD.
He will be sorely missed.
Wrestling legend, Ernie “The Big Cat” Ladd, died Saturday at the age of 68. He was a legend and a true master of his game. He will be sorely missed.
